Objects of investigation Ideas/Works to which literature (prior art) search is available, that is, inventions, utility models, designs and trademarks.
Search procedure By using our database, we will investigate if there exists the idea/work which is the same as or similar to yours.
Types of the service Our literature (prior art) search service is divided into three types depending on the scope of investigation.
Basic search Foreign literature search Complete search
Investigation is made by using the database of Industrial Property Digital Library (by Japan Patent Office) and Japanese-language search engines such as Yahoo!Japan. Investigation is made by using the database of the basic search as well as the database of foreign patent offices such as 'search the USPTO website' (U.S.) and foreign search engines. Investigation is made by using the database of the foreign literature search as well as the database of pay websites such as NACSIS and Science Information Processing Center.

(3) The literature (prior art) search will start.
↓ Upon receipt of your completed application, we will send you an e-mail for confirmation of the application. Please fill out the confirmation sheet and send it back to us by e-mail.
After confirmation, we will start the search. We will make the best investigation we can.
(4) You will receive our search report and invoice.
On completion of the search, we will send you the search report attached with an invoice for the search service fee. After confirmation of the invoice, please pay the amount claimed into our bank account.
